Buyer Beware: I ordered a new Escape PHEV in Nov 2022. It arrived in July 2023 and was sold to someone at higher price. They are trying every kind of excuses to Not refund me $500 refundable deposit when I paid for my order. Be very careful, if you go there with the sales, especially Tristan Chalifoux-Lamarche. Before you sign a contract, they promise; but after that, you are just an ATM. Reply to Desjardins Ford: your word is sweet, but what you did was dirty and bad. I reported this to OPC and sent you a legal letter.

While I am totally satisfied with sales office and service department at the highest level, I cannot suggest the body shop works with Desjardins Ford. When I wanted to pay out of pocket without claim to insurance, I got estimates from them for a repair on a door starting from $1,700 and growing to 2.5k including a replacement car wile in service. When it reached 3K I decided to claim to insurance company and they sent an estimate of around 5k to them. Contrary to their first promise, the lady (receptionist?) in the body shop was hesitant to offer the replacement car (as I didn't have it on my insurance). I asked for a manager and she said no one is above her! She was arguing I am not insured to drive a rental car and in case of something happens, they are in charge! After 6 messages on their landline without followup, I passed by and handed over my insurance papers to her showing the exact terms she was looking for! then she changed her words and said your insurance does not cover the replacement car! During this process, she was continuously sending emails to my insurance company asking them for replacement car to be included, while she was well aware it does not related to my insurance. She was clearly aware of every detail, but tried to put it on the insurance company without my knowledge. She also tried to play in a way she doesn't understand the situation well and acting like they did not offer replacement car at all! I got my truck from Desjardins in 2020 and ever since had it serviced there on every service with 100% satisfaction. But the body shop experience was horrible.

My recent experience with the Desjardins Ford dealership was very good and I am very pleased with the service they provided. From the professional sales reps to the attentive finance team, every aspect of my visit was executed with professionalism and a genuine focus on customer satisfaction. During my two transactions in particular, Richard demonstrated his high work ethic and character. He knew the car inside out and was very patient and took the time to listen to my requests and preferences. He worked diligently with transparency and clarity throughout the process. He is very client-focused and has strong sales and persuasion skills.
